Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse, located in Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients in a tertiary care facility. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to work on complex cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), thoracoscopies, lung resections, and robotic lung surgeries.

Job Details

• Position Description: The position will be Monday through Friday with weekday and weekend open heart call. Will float to main operating room as needed.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure valid in Pennsylvania, ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications, 2 years of experience, and proficiency in open heart surgery procedures including CABG, thoracoscopies, and lung resections.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to accept on-call duties and off shifts that include 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts. Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
