Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing surgical nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a focus on various specialties including Orthopedics, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Plastics, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry. The position requires the ability to float to the main OR as needed and to participate in on-call duties. The schedule is primarily days with varied shifts, totaling approximately 40 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with varied shifts including day hours and weekend daylight shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in Pennsylvania; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Hospital/Women's Center (HWC); 1-2 years of experience in the operating room setting; willingness to accept on-call and off-shift hours including weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, level 1 trauma experience, robotic surgery experience.
• Additional Information: The position serves patients of all ages, with a patient ratio of 1:1. The role involves working in an environment equipped with EPIC electronic health records and may require float rotations as necessary. No casual wear is permitted; scrubs in blue will be provided.
