Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (OR) Medford, Oregon. This position involves working in an acute care division within a short stay unit. The role requires providing specialized surgical nursing care, adhering to established protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The assignment offers a rotating shift schedule with no night or weekend shifts, supporting work-life balance.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a requirement of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); Oregon RN license or willingness to wait for a license submission; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Operating Room (OR) setting; familiarity with EPIC charting system.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, rotating, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly. Shifts start at variable times throughout the day.
- Additional Information: The assignment includes 12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first week; orientation hours are not guaranteed. The facility has a Level 2 trauma designation and operates Monday through Friday, 0500-1930. Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius restriction. The client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours based on operational needs.
