Job Summary:
The Emergency Room nurse position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires managing both adult and pediatric patients, with an emphasis on maintaining sound clinical judgment and documentation. The nurse will work rotating shifts, including nights, to support the operational needs of the facility.

Job Details:

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience, at least 2 prior travel contracts, experience caring for critical care patients, ability to care for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations, strong team collaboration skills, clear and timely communication, ability to escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety, proficiency in EPIC Electronic Medical Record system, floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in caring for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations, strong team collaboration skills, with clear and timely communication.
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for critical patients in a high-volume emergency department. Flexibility with floating within the facility or to other nearby sites may be required.
