Description

Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nursing Allied Health Professional in Vermont. This position involves working on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit within a facility dedicated to managing severe mental health and addiction challenges. The role requires providing complex nursing care, clinical supervision, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift Time: Nights
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, recent general adult inpatient psychiatric experience within the last 3 months, five years of overall RN experience, psych/behavioral health experience with all age groups listed on the resume, willingness to float to other units, take charge shifts, and provide clinical supervision of mental health workers
  • Additional Qualifications: Psych skills checklist from within the last year, two supervisory references from the past two years, active state license, and a drivers license or address included in the submission packet
  • RTO Blackout Dates: 8/31-9/4, 9/5-9/8, 11/2-11/6, 11/30-12/4, 11/25-11/30, 12/23-12/27, 12/31-1/1
  • Submission Requirements: Resume listing psych experience and all age groups, confirmation of CPI offered onsite, and details regarding patient populations experience with are required.
  • Additional Notes: Candidates within 35 miles of the address listed may be subject to a rate decrease due to geographic proximity.
