Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Aurora, Colorado. This assignment involves providing specialized inpatient care to pediatric cardiology patients, including those with ventricular assist devices. The position requires a registered nurse with pediatric experience, available for a 13-week assignment starting on November 3, 2026, and ending on February 6, 2027. The role includes night shifts with every other weekend commitment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Start Date: 11/03/2026
- Location: Aurora, Colorado

- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, licensure and certifications including Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum 1 year of prior inpatient pediatric cardiology experience, and prior travel RN experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric Ventricular Assist Device (VAD).
- Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within their clinical competence to other areas of practice in the assigned facility or within thirty-five (35) miles of the original facility location.
- Additional Information: No Request for Time Off (RTO) approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions from the seasonal flu vaccine are permitted.
