Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care at a healthcare facility located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); minimum of two years of experience caring for surgical patients; current certification in listed areas; ability to assist in other units as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stepdown units; proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
Float: Float rotation may be required to assist in other units.
Additional Information: The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients, with patient ratios of 5:1. Candidates should possess a great attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited resources. The dress code is scrubs of any color, and no unacceptable attire is specified.
