Description

Job Summary:
Charge Nurse position in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing leadership and clinical expertise within a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation setting. The selected candidate will oversee patient care activities on a dedicated unit, ensuring quality standards and efficient operational processes are maintained to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, recent graduate or experienced nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation, stroke, amputation, or major surgeries. Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with a warm and welcoming personality.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working on a single-floor unit with a patient ratio of 1:7, utilizing equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensers. The unit uses Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems. Report time is 6:45 pm upon arrival, and parking is available in the main parking lot.
