Description
Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Maine. This role involves collaborating with residents and care team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across multiple specialized units, including Alzheimers/dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care. The position emphasizes understanding behavioral cues, effective communication, and providing supportive services in a home-like environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours), with minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing; valid State of Maine or compact RN license; 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred; medical terminology knowledge preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills required; flexibility to work across different units and cover 24-hour shifts; ability to float to other units as needed. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above qualifications.
- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract.
