Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as identifying priorities for care through assessment, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse develops and coordinates individualized plans of care, performs therapeutic interventions, manages patient care, and advocates for evidence-based practice standards. The position requires providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Job Details:

• Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
• Schedule: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM (40 hours per week)
• Required Qualifications: - ASN (ASN) & minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting. - Hybrid nurses able to work in the ICU, Preoperative, and PACU areas. - Skills: PACU, ICU, Preoperative, Telemetry. - Must be tele certified. - Certifications and Licensure: New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, Telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: - BSN preferred. - 3+ years PACU experience preferred.
• Experience: 0 years minimum experience required, with a focus on critical care, pre-op and recovery/PACU settings.
