Description
Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical with Telemetry position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing care on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including days and nights, with every other weekend required. The unit specializes in adult neuroscience patients, including those with stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, and recovering from neurosurgical procedures. While neuro experience is desired, it is not mandatory for qualified candidates.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts nurse license, 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units, level 1 trauma experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro care experience is desired but not required
- Float: Float rotation may not be required
- Additional Information: The position requires a BON (Board of Nursing) license issued by the state of Massachusetts. Application submission should include a BON licensure verification.
