Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a stepdown environment, focusing on patient stabilization and recovery. The position requires adaptability to a fast-paced clinical setting with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of Indiana; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher; no minimum experience required (0 years experience); located within the state of Indiana
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams to implement care plans, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. The role demands attention to detail, compassionate patient interaction, and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
