Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a healthcare facility located in Arcadia, California. This travel assignment involves providing labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a dynamic environment with a varying nurse-to-patient ratio. The position offers an opportunity to work with acuity-specific cases, including laboring patients and cesarean sections, over a 13-week period.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Duration of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Location: 300 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, including triage expertise; valid RN license; BLS; NRP; ACLS; Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with laboring patients, cesarean section patients, and triage
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with ability to work across different units as needed
• Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, performing cesarean sections, and managing triage patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio varying according to acuity (1:1 or 1:2). The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and standard operating procedures, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
