Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, San Jose, CA The organization is seeking experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurses for a contract position at a general medical facility. This role involves providing specialized care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse
Shift Time: Days
Shift Hours: 12 hours
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Location: San Jose, CA
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a California license, at least 4 years of experience in L&D, and BLS certification.
Responsibilities include delivering Quality care for deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other Labor and Delivery procedures along with team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with unit-specific policies, comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, and familiarity with electronic medical records such as Meditech/CPNT.
Additional Information: Rotating weekends may be required based on the unit's scheduling needs. Classic scrub attire is mandated per unit guidelines.
