Job Summary:
Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) in Elko, Nevada. This position involves providing inpatient behavioral health services with a focus on mental health treatment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting adult patients with various mental health diagnoses in a 16-bed inpatient unit.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week
• Required qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, Handle with Care preferred, active Nevada license at time of submittal, 1 year minimum inpatient behavioral health experience
• Preferred qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other departments
• Additional information:
  • Must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are required; these have 60 days to be obtained after start date and 90 days respectively
  • Fit testing is offered on-site to travelers
  • Candidates must submit a full application packet including resume and skills checklist
  • The work environment includes adult patient population with diagnoses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, and dual diagnosis-related mental health issues
