Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing compassionate and expert care in the labor and delivery department, including operating room, post-anesthesia care unit, and postpartum care. The role supports a busy maternity unit with a focus on evidenced-based practices and excellent patient experiences.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Working 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends. Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, but may vary.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license to practice in Colorado, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Stable certification, Flu Vaccine (or willingness to obtain by 10/31/2025), and a minimum of 0 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: RN Charge experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • RADIUS RULE: The travelers permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
    • CAPS Requirements: Agencies must register in the Colorado Department of Health and Environment system, which may take up to two weeks to process. Out-of-state agencies should ensure proper registration with Colorado as outlined.
    • Ensure the correct Social Security Number and Date of Birth are entered in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
