Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Stanford, California. This role involves providing expert, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting, practicing within regulatory standards, hospital policies, and the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act. The ER RN collaborates with the care team, assesses patients, develops and implements care plans, and educates patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, TNCC certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for creating a healing environment through direct patient engagement, effective communication, and timely assessment. The role requires rapid problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, including activating emergency protocols when needed. The RN will also contribute to team development, participate in unit activities, and pursue ongoing professional growth.
