Description
Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Floor registered nurse position is based at an organization specializing in adult inpatient orthopedic, urology, and surgical care. This role involves providing care to a patient population that includes post-surgical and pre-surgical orthopedic and urology patients admitted through emergency services, front door, or clinical admissions. The position is scheduled on a rotating day/night shift, offering a dynamic work environment within a thirty-six-bed unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 or more years of Level 1 experience; 1 or more years of travel experience; applicable professional certifications and education as required by law
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience on orthopedic, urology, or surgical units preferred
- Float: Not specified
- Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for managing patient care in a busy adult inpatient setting, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality healthcare. Flexibility to work rotating shifts is essential.
