Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nursing professional is sought for a facility located in Poughkeepsie, New York. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, Level 2 trauma, acute care teaching hospital with 349 beds. The position requires working overnight shifts and supporting the emergency department during a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 07:00:00 PM 07:30:00 AM, with alternating weekends and holiday rotation
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New York, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), 2+ years of emergency department experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Additional Information: The candidate must have experience with Cerner electronic health record system. This role is focused on delivering urgent and comprehensive emergency care in a high-volume environment.
