Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Quincy, Illinois. This position involves providing acute care in a Level 2 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, with a focus on immediate response to a high-volume patient patient load. The role requires working overnight shifts, delivering specialized emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC; at least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; location in Quincy, Illinois; and minimum of 0 years of experience (default if no experience is specified)
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Attention to facility-specific requirements, including 4 hours of billable computer modules to be completed prior to start. This is an immediate need with a start date of 08/17/2026. The unit notes indicate a high-volume emergency department with approximately 120 patients daily, staffed according to patient census, and includes Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center accreditation, along with full treatment capabilities for Sexual Assault Survivors.
