Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position in Highland Park, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care to infants in a Level 2 intermediate care nursery, primarily for babies gestational age of 32 weeks and greater. The position requires a commitment to night shifts with a focus on delivering high-quality neonatal care, including postpartum support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: IL licensure, BLS, NRP certifications; 2+ years of solid NICU experience, specifically in Level 2 nursery or intermediate care nursery settings; proficiency with Epic charting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Comfort in providing postpartum care, though NICU care is prioritized.
• Shift: Night shifts; every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). Weekend requirements include every other weekend; may float to related NICU units at additional facilities.
• Additional Information: Start date is scheduled for 08/16/2026. Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours. The candidate must provide care for neonates with gestational age of 32 weeks and greater in a Level 2 nursery setting.
