Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Des Moines, IA. This position involves providing acute care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires ensuring patient safety, coordinating care, and responding effectively to emergency situations to support overall patient well-being.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 0 years of experience in emergency care. Specifics include any applicable certifications, education, and licensure requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing is preferred. Additional certifications such as Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be advantageous.
Additional Information: Responsible for patient assessment, triage, and emergency interventions within the ER environment. Must comply with hospital protocols, SOPs, and safety standards, including adherence to certifications and training requirements.
