Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Rock Island, Illinois. This role involves providing patient care in a busy surgical unit within a Level 1 trauma center. Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: One year of experience in Med Surg, Post-Operative, or Stepdown units. Valid state license for Illinois and Iowa. BLS (AHA) certification. Drivers license. Skills checklist completed within one year of submission. Copy of required certifications. References including one supervisory reference. Profile must include work history/resume.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience completing at least one travel contract.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must be comfortable caring for up to 5-7 patients, with N:P ratio information encouraged on work history. Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility unless in Madison, where a local status with a 10% rate reduction is accepted.
• Certifications Needed: BLS (AHA).
• License Requirements: Illinois and Iowa state licenses.
