Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is needed in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on managing complex conditions and utilizing advanced life support equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work nights in a dynamic environment dedicated to patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Location: Medical-Surgical ICU
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); current license in hand for the state or jurisdiction; 2 years of experience in an ICU setting; experience with Epic charting system; experience with patient ratios of 2-3.
• Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, administering blood products, arterial line management, central line care, and other advanced procedures such as ECMO and intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required, with coverage based on scheduling needs. Prior ICU experience, trauma level experience, and travel experience are preferred.
• Submission requirements: Candidates must have state or compact license at the time of submittal, with all onboarding modules and core items completed within 48 hours of contract signing. RTO must be listed at the time of submission, and previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
