Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is needed for a Level I Trauma facility in en_US. This role involves providing specialized critical care for adult patients within a busy Trauma ICU setting, requiring prior experience in trauma care and proficiency in Epic charting systems. The position offers a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Trauma ICU, Level I Trauma experience required
- Location: en_US
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Education & Experience: 2+ years of relevant ICU experience, minimum 2 years trauma ICU experience, valid state or compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 for adult patients
- Charting System: Epic (experience required)
- Additional Qualifications: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV initiation and maintenance, ventilator management, trauma level I experience is preferred
- Additional Information: Experience with the management of ventilated patients, trauma level I unit experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment with a patient census of approximately 14 patients per day.
