Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care in medical-surgical ICU settings, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The position features a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts weekly, planned for an initial assignment beginning September 22, 2026, and ending December 22, 2026.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, PALS*
- Education Requirements: Relevant nursing degree with valid state or compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Years of Experience: 2 years preferred (minimum 0 years required)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Experience with medical-surgical ICU patient care, charting experience using Epic, trauma level I or II experience preferred, travel experience required
- Additional Information:
Previous charge experience preferred
Float rotation may be required
Candidate must be able to access/manage ports, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, manage arterial lines, and provide ventilator management among other specialized ICU procedures. - Submission instructions: Must include valid state or compact license, RTO preferences, and confirmation of completing core onboarding items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
