Job Summary:
The ICU Float Nurse position is based in Lufkin, Texas. This role involves providing critical care nursing services in the intensive care unit, with floating responsibilities to step down units as needed. The position requires a proactive approach to patient care in a fast-paced environment, starting as soon as possible.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), at least 2 years of critical care experience, and experience with electronic medical records (MEDHOST). Must include the home address on submissions and SSN only on the candidates tax page.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in intensive care and floating to step-down units, familiarity with Navy Scrubs, and a patient ratio of 2:1 to 4:1.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting, with no minimum experience requirement explicitly listed.
• Additional Information: The position is a replacement for permanent staff, and the candidate must be more than 50 miles from the facility. Call possibility and the potential to float to step-down units are included.
