Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse position located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized intraoperative care for cardiovascular patients in a hybrid coronary angiography laboratory within a smaller hospital setting. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in an advanced, rapidly growing facility that features technology comparable to university-level programs.
Job Details:
- Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience with operating room open heart procedures, specifically as a cardiovascular operating room nurse (CVOR) scrub and circulate experience required
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license for work in Colorado
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association
- Two or more years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR nursing experience
- Additional Information:
- RADIUS RULE: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
- Candidate must provide a current RN license, AHA - BLS and ACLS certifications, resume, and skills sheet with each submission
- Agency registration must be in Colorado; out-of-state agencies need to specify their out-of-state status in the system and confirm they have a physical address in Colorado, even if out-of-state
- Correct SS# and DOB must be maintained in the system to prevent onboarding delays
