Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Glendale, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, following established standards of care and the nursing process. The position includes supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, while collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ER experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS or comparable certification) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required; Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience
  • Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with the healthcare team, and participate in discharge planning. The role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and teamwork, with responsibilities for delegating duties and ensuring quality of care.
