Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Kingston, New York. This position involves working in an operating room setting with rotating shifts that include days and on-call coverage until 7:00 AM. The role requires providing support during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and assisting surgical teams in delivering optimal patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician; High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of relevant experience; New York State license or certification; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a surgical or operating room environment; additional certifications related to perioperative nursing or surgical technology
• Additional Information: This role involves rotating shifts including day hours and on-call coverage until 7:00 AM, requiring flexibility and availability for emergency procedures and urgent interventions.
