Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (Pediatrics) in Oakland, California. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care for pediatric patients within a dedicated surgical unit. The role offers flexible scheduling with daily shifts, focusing on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to pediatric surgery.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Start date is 08/24/2026.
Required Qualifications: BLS and CNOR certifications required; pediatric general operating room experience preferred; California nursing license in hand; 3 years of experience desired; must be able to float to other UCSF campuses.
Preferred Qualifications: Ambulatory operating room experience, cardiovascular operating room experience, trauma experience preferred.
Additional Information: The role involves working in a pediatric surgical environment with a focus on multidisciplinary care. Candidates should have experience with pediatric procedures, charting with Epic system, and be comfortable in a fast-paced surgical setting. Flexibility to float within the organization and deployment in various pediatric surgeries is required.
