Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is located in Albany, Oregon. The role involves supporting staffing across multiple healthcare facilities in Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon, with a focus on labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mothers and newborns. This position offers a flexible schedule, primarily day shifts, requiring adaptability to float between facilities and different environments.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications:
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license, Healthcare Provider Level BLS, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE.- Two years of labor experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, postpartum care of mother and newborn.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
- Epic proficiency required.
- Additional Information:
The position requires the use of the employees personal automobile and the ability to travel for work assignments at multiple points of care. No excessive time off request (RTO) will be approved.
