Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized recovery care for patients following surgical procedures. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing patient recovery, ensuring high-quality care, and adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital post anesthesia care unit (PACU) RN experience, BLS & ACLS certifications, flexibility with hours, prior Meditech experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional skills or experience in PACU procedures, excellent attitude, resilient under stress, and strong patient-centered approach are highly preferred
• Additional Information: On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call. The unit has 30 beds and operates with a team of dedicated staff. The environment features new equipment and technology to support staff and patient care.
