Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves rotating day and night shifts with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, requiring alternating shift work including weekends. The ideal candidate will possess a valid licensure for pediatric intensive care and have at least two years of relevant ICU experience, with experience in burn care being a plus. Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with an every-other-weekend requirement
- Schedule: Days, with the possibility of night shifts, averaging 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) RN license; minimum of 2 years ICU experience; current experience in pediatric ICU; prior travel experience preferred; ability to rotate shifts; no more than 3 days of scheduled time off (RTO); no holiday scheduled time off
- Preferred Qualifications: Burn experience is a plus but not required; ICU experience in a burn unit is advantageous
- Additional Information: This position requires working in an environment utilizing Cerner electronic medical records system. Candidates must be available to start on 08/31/2026. Travel is required for this assignment.
