Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Mammoth Lakes, California. This role involves providing direct nursing care in a 17-bed Critical Access Hospital, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, coordinating care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation within a fast-paced emergency environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts only, with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California State Registered Nurse license; American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications; minimum of zero years of emergency room nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification preferred
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing and monitoring patient physical status, correlating physician orders with diagnoses, managing laboratory values, and documenting care accurately every two hours. Candidates must be knowledgeable about laboratory work-up and value interpretation. Safety procedures and infection control protocols are strictly followed. The position is primarily day-shift based, with potential variation to include day and night shifts as needed.
