Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Hanford, California. This position involves delivering specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical department, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating with surgical teams, and providing patient education in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; one year of experience in an acute care facility preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- Additional Information: The OR nurse will be responsible for collecting relevant assessment data, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient progress. Collaborates with surgical teams and provides patient and family education. The role involves participation in discharge planning, delegation, and ensuring a safe, healing environment. The position requires compliance with organizational vaccination policies, and participation in E-Verify. The start date is 08/24/2026, at the Hanford facility.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
