Description
Job Summary:
Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab) RN Portland, OR. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the EP Laboratory, focusing on cardiac electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker insertions and ablations. The role requires collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support complex cardiac procedures and patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon State license or compact license, at least 1 year of experience in the specialty, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with cardiac ablation, electrophysiology procedures, hybrid operating room, pacemaker insertion, and special procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and ablation cases; familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
- Additional Information: This role involves working in a short-term acute care facility with a daily census of approximately 12 patients, supporting interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and phlebotomy. The position includes orientation hours and requires commitment to working three of the five designated holidays. Candidates should be able to respond to onboarding and compliance documentation, including references and prior staffing history.
