Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves providing inpatient care in a facility with a focus on neuro trauma and telemetry. The position requires collaboration within a team-oriented environment on a day shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Portsmouth, NH
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no on-call requirement
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 1+ year of nursing experience in a similar setting, candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience, trauma experience
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 23
  • Staff: 9 RNs during day shift, 2 aides
  • Types of equipment: Bedside monitors, end tidal oxygen monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, subdural drains
  • EMR System: Meditech
• Typical Procedures Performed: Chest tubes, EEGs
• Personality Fit: Team oriented
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes bedside monitors and specific trauma/neuro care tools
  • Dress code: No specific color, professional attire
