Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse specializing in procedures and patient assessments in Columbia, Missouri. This role involves performing head-to-toe patient evaluations, assisting with a variety of invasive and non-invasive procedures, and providing effective patient care in a dynamic environment. The position requires quick adaptation to new settings and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities between departments to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 0800-1630, with weekend and weeknight call rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), current clinical experience in interventional radiology or related specialty, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, and located within a reasonable distance from Columbia, Missouri.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vascular device management, tele interpretation, and procedural sedation.
• Additional Information: This role involves performing procedures such as port placements, biopsies, chest tube placements, and neurovascular interventions. Nurses will assist in managing medications like Versed, Fentanyl, and Cefazolin, without managing Propofol drips or pressors. Equipment used includes IV pumps, vital sign monitors, and specialized imaging tools. The nurse-to-patient ratio during procedures is 1:1.
