Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Waco, Texas, within a 15-bed Neuro/Ortho unit. The role involves providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The RN will implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred, with critical thinking and decisive judgment required to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Waco, Texas
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, Ability to work day shifts, Basic understanding of Epic charting system, Experience working on a Neuro/Ortho unit preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Navy or maroon scrubs familiarity, Experience in a Neuro/Ortho setting, CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide patient care for a neuro/ortho population, coordinate with healthcare team members, and manage patient discharge planning. Critical thinking skills, decision-making ability, and experience working with minimal supervision are essential.
