Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in Mesa, Arizona. This position involves selecting and handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during operative procedures. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; current basic life support certification; registered with State Regulatory Agency if applicable; manual dexterity and ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations; able to lift up to 75 pounds; effective communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience; additional related education or experience is advantageous
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include preparing for surgical procedures, anticipating surgeons needs, maintaining aseptic techniques, assisting with OR turnover and supply replenishment, and participating in emergency call rotations. The position emphasizes adherence to safety procedures, infection control, and professional standards.
