Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Washington, MO. This role involves providing care for women in antepartum, triage, Labor & Delivery, recovery, postpartum, and well newborns in a Mother Baby couplet area. The nurse must be skilled in caring for cesarean sections in the operating room and able to function independently while maintaining a compassionate and autonomous personality fit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (3x12), minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current state license in Missouri, BLS, NRP, 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units, experience caring for women in antepartum, triage, L&D, postpartum, and well newborns, capable of circulating cesarean sections in OR, able to care for well newborns in Mom/Baby Couplet area
- Additional Information: Position is located at a facility with 8 postpartum beds and 8 labor beds. No float is required. Candidate must be able to care for women and newborns in both antepartum and postpartum settings, with the ability to circulate cesarean sections. Dress code is scrubs in blue or OR scrubs. The role requires a kind and autonomous personality to fit within a dynamic patient care team.
