Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients, assessing their condition, and supporting their families. The position requires delivering high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree. Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license and basic life support (BLS) certification. At least 2 years of prior travel experience and level 3 or level 4 experience in neonatal intensive care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and additional NICU experience.
• Additional Information: Supports pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education for neonatal patients. Evaluates testing orders related to neonatal care, ensuring appropriateness based on patient needs and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of neonatal diagnoses, procedures, and equipment, and individualizes patient care accordingly. Consistently demonstrates professionalism, safety, and effective communication with patients and families.
