Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy hospital environment, supporting patients undergoing orthopedic and trauma surgeries. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic procedures, trauma orthopedic care, and hold current certifications in related specialties.

Job Details:

• Scheduling: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; orthopedic experience; trauma orthopedic experience; TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification; no prior experience minimum required; located in Jacksonville, FL; willing to work full-time.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced procedure skills such as arthroscopies and total joints; familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system.
• Position Responsibilities: Support a variety of orthopedic and trauma surgeries, including arthroscopies and total joint procedures; adhere to hospital dress code (hospital scrubs); utilize advanced skills for specialized procedures; participate in on-call schedule (6 shifts per 4 weeks).
• Additional Information: No float rotation required; unit staffed with experienced personnel, equipped with modern orthopedic surgical technology; department recognized for excellence and patient safety, offering a supportive team environment.
