Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Med Surg Float Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in a healthcare setting located in Kirkville, Missouri. This role involves providing nursing care for inpatient rehabilitation patients, with the flexibility to supplement med-surg patients if volume dictates. The position offers a high level of flexibility to accommodate scheduling preferences and staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one or more years of nursing experience, current nursing license, relocation to the assigned location, flexibility to float to other units as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical units, adaptability to floating assignments to different units based on competency
• Float: Float rotation may be required. Mainly assigned to medical-surgical units for patient care but may be floated to other units for tasking (only with existing competencies)
• Additional Information: Provide nursing care for a unit with 10 beds, patient ratio of 1:10 (swing patients only). May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume decreases. Scrub color can be any solid color. EMR utilized is MedHost. Position is created to fill a vacant role starting on 09/14/2026. No stand-by call; may be placed on call if volume supports, but not exceeding the standard 48 hours of call-off time per the contract. Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated.
