Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Oregon. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will be responsible for assessing, triaging, administering treatments, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; current RN license in the State of Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required; no prior experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical experience is desirable.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing patient assessments, triaging, emergency procedures such as wound care and splinting, monitoring vital signs, providing patient education, responding to rapid response calls, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. The ER RN must demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-stress environment.
