Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing patient care in a telemetry unit, requiring the ability to read telemetry strips and demonstrate proficiency in necessary clinical skills. The role is scheduled for night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 09/08/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Health Care Professional with Basic Life Support (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Crisis Prevention Institute (or MAB), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Must be able to read telemetry strips. Candidates must be willing to work upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) with no requests for time off during the holiday period.
- Additional Information:
- After three call outs, the contract will be terminated.
- Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution. Failure to pass testing will result in contract cancellation.
- Facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract.
- Floating within the scope of practice is required.
- Charge nurse or preceptor may be required and will be reflected on the Health Care Professional's timesheet.
- Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation.
