Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a position in Evanston, Illinois. This role involves night shifts and requires the ability to work both on a dedicated unit and rotate to other units or facilities as needed. The position offers an opportunity to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment dedicated to neuro and stroke patients.

Job Details

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, Nights
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), EPIC Charting experience, 2+ years of strong ICU experience (specifically Neuro and Stroke)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, Neuro and Stroke specialty experience
• Float: Must be flexible to float to other units and potentially other facilities, including facilities in Skokie, Highland Park, and Glenbrook
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: As needed
• Start Date: 08/16/2026
• Orientation: Mondays, 8 hours paid, credentials due Thursday before start, skills checklist (completed within 12 months), 1 reference (completed within 12 months), IL license verification, must have a passed EKG test of 80% or higher at submission
• Notes: Submission requirements include an updated resume, skills checklist, reference, and license verification.
