Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Emergency Room (ER) located in Eureka, California, will provide essential emergency care services within a bustling facility. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, covering observation units with ER hold patients, and supporting a diverse patient population across all age groups. The position begins as soon as possible and requires adherence to facility protocols and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license; 1 year of clinical experience; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; prior community hospital and trauma level I or II experience is a plus
• Float: Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
• Additional Information: Start date is 08/24/2026. Travelers will work 3 out of 6 weekends and must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Applicants must provide SSN, DOB, and RTO details at submission. Candidates should review specific charting experience requirements (Epic preferred) and be prepared to submit 2 references covering 1 year within the past 3 years prior to start.
