Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Eureka, California. This position involves providing acute care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, covering Observation Unit which is designated for Emergency Room Hold patients. The role requires working night shifts with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a high-volume environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC; 1 year of experience; no specific location requirement, minimum of 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency Department, Level I or II trauma experience, Epic charting system experience, prior travel experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required to cover Observation Unit and potentially other nearby units
- Additional Information: Travelers will cover Observation Unit which is ER Hold patients. They must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References: two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
