Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role involves providing preoperative and surgical care within a surgical center setting. The candidate will support the surgical team in various procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, including one scheduled weekend day and one second-call weekend day every four-week schedule. Shifts may include days, afternoons, or midnights based on department needs.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or OR setting; Valid nursing license; willingness to wait for license submission; location in or ability to work within Wheeling, West Virginia.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of surgical procedures including robotics, IV skills, and surgical care; scrubbing experience; familiarity with Sunrise EMR (current) and EPIC (upcoming go-live on April 1); experience in acute care or trauma environments.
• Float: OR holding area; float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This role is based in a preoperative area called the surgical center, not a free-standing surgical facility. All submissions must include a copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license. Candidates must disclose licensing hits at the time of submission. Shift notes specify 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts weekly, with weekend and on-call responsibilities included.
